Guest Speaker at Morning Star House

On Tuesday, April 21st, 2009, I had the opportunity to speak in front of a group of women for the Women's Empowerment Circle at Morning Star House (also known as The Urban Indian Advocacy Program), which is a community-based advocacy program for Indian women and children here in Albuquerque, NM. They invited me to speak about my book, "Unfolding Your Dreams for Success," with tips on discovering what you really want to do in life.

I can't tell you how happy I was to be there. To be that much closer to making someone's life a little easier for at least the time being. This has always been my dream. It's the reason I wrote my book. I don't care about becoming a bestselling author. As long as I've inspired one person, I'm a happy camper...

I was invited to return on May 21st, 2009 to give tips on recognizing your own worth, writing successful resumes and cover letters, interviews, and getting the job even when they aren't hiring.

It sounds like you are doing great things in the community and I am sure that you will continue to do so.
