Michael was also a nationally accredited musician (drums and congas) by the time he was 13 years old after recording two albums and playing on the main stage of the Teluride Jazz Festival with the The Young Razzcals Jazz Project. Additionally, he is currently recognized as Author of "Unfolding Your Dreams for Success", Owner and CEO of Engineering Business Systems, Founder and President of TheBenevolenceCommunity.org, a Manager at Jason's Deli, and Father of four beautiful children.

Michael was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the name "Michael D. Alderson" by his loving and supportive parents, Shannon and Michael. His name was changed from Gandy to Alderson (at age 2) when his mother got remarried, and then back to Gandy in 2005 so that his children would have the same last name as he did at birth.
